Microsoft Security Analyst

Overview

Insight Global is looking for a Microsoft Security Analyst to play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening cybersecurity frameworks. This position is responsible for implementing security policies, assessing risks, and responding to threats. The analyst actively monitors network activity, investigates security breaches, conducts vulnerability testing, and ensures compliance with security regulations. Additionally, they lead incident response efforts, manage access controls, and provide security awareness training to enhance overall system protection.

Responsibilities

Implement security policies, assess risks, and respond to cybersecurity threats.

Actively monitor network activity and investigate security breaches.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Minimum of three years of experience in cybersecurity and information security.

Manage and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including Entra-ID and Microsoft Active Directory, ensuring secure and efficient access control across the organization.

Experience with Microsoft Admin Center, including Defender and Purview, to enhance security management and compliance monitoring.

Hands-on experience with SIEM, ATP, vulnerability management, and access controls.

Strong knowledge of network security, access management, and risk assessment methodologies. - Preferred certifications : CISSP, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, CEH, PNPT, OSCP.
