Central Services Supervisor

Job Title

Assist the Central Service Manager with the planning, organizing, and coordinating of the distribution of materials and equipment process. Responsible for supervising and monitoring the activities of the Central Services Staff.

Essential Job Functions :

• Coordinates the ordering, receiving and the distribution of all medical and non-medical supplies for patient care.
• Monitors daily staffing and adjust or reschedules as needed.
• Monitors daily schedules and work assignments in the absence of the manager.
• Develops and maintains a positive work environment and promotes a team approach.
• Serves as a back up to all positions.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe environment in assigned area.
• Responds to any concern nursing areas in an efficient and courteous manner.
• Identifies problems / issues, conducts investigations, and takes corrective action in the absence of the manager.
• Responds and communicates well with co-workers, nursing staff and department while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Extensive data entry, word, excel.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.
