HIV / AIDS Care Specialist
Pinnacle Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to become a vital part of our Ryan White HIV / AIDS Program team. This federally funded program focuses on providing person-centered homemaking services to individuals living with HIV / AIDS. As an HIV / AIDS Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to explore and advance your career in social services and health care. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an HIV / AIDS Care Specialist, your duties will vary to meet the needs of the individuals you serve and may include :
- Light Housekeeping : Assist with cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, garbage removal, changing bedding, organizing, and seasonal cleaning.
- Laundry : Help with washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes.
- Shopping : Support with routine shopping, making lists, using coupons, and picking up medications.
- Scheduling Appointments : Facilitate arranging activities with family / friends, transportation, and appointment reminders.
- Meal Preparation : Assist with cooking and cleaning up after meals.
Work Schedule
You will collaborate with the Program Manager / Director to create a flexible schedule that may include morning, daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive salary of $18 / hour.

Required Qualifications :
Must be over 18 years of age.Must successfully clear a DHS background check.Must possess a current driver's license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Pinnacle Services policy.Must be patient, compassionate, flexible, dependable, and passionate about helping others.Must possess effective communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with individuals served.Must be willing to work directly with individuals diagnosed with HIV / AIDS.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in a personalized, one-on-one setting with individuals diagnosed with HIV / AIDS.CPR / AED certification (training provided if needed).All job offers are contingent upon a cleared DHS background check and a clean driving record. Paid training will be provided to all selected candidates.
