Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for performance testing. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic. Knowledge of additional performance testing tools or frameworks. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in performance testing, preferably in retail or e-commerce systems. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying performance issues.
Overview
Experience with Grafana K6 is required in combination with other performance testing tools. Candidates need to have strong communication skills and the ability to lead and drive a team, both onshore and offshore. Client is seeking a talented Performance Test Engineer to ensure our e-commerce and retail systems deliver fast, reliable, and scalable experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing tools, scripting, and CI / CD integration, with a strong focus on optimizing web and retail applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance and load testing scenarios for retail applications using k6, Playwright, and Neoload.
- Automate performance tests and integrate them into the CI / CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize e-commerce and backend systems.
- Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks to support new features and releases.
