As a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist, you provide specialized technical expertise in life support and the diagnosis of pulmonary disorders across diverse patient populations. With a focus on clinical support and education, you ensure high performance in handling emergencies and delivering care in trauma centers. Requirements include BLS, ACLS certifications, and a Minnesota RT license, alongside extensive experience with patient management and ventilators.

Job Details

  • Provides high performance technical expertise, focused and specialized in life support measures, code response, and the care and diagnosis of both acute and chronic pulmonary disorders.
  • Respiratory Therapists also provide a cross-divisional resource for clinical support and education in the Medical Center.

  • 2+ Years of Experience - Required
  • BLS - Required
  • ACLS (Must be AHA or ARC) - Required
  • NBRC (CRT or RRT) - Required
  • MN RT License - Required
  • Experience with Hamilton Ventilators - Required
  • Experience with Labor & Delivery - Required
  • Experience with All Patient Populations - Required
  • Trauma Level I Experience - Required
  • Epic Experience - Preferred
  • Work history Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
  • Two Supervisory reference forms, taken in the last two years
  • If a candidate is not eligible to work in the USA, it must be noted on their profile
  • Clinicians MUST list prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, and / or Blaze Health LLC on their resume
  • ALL RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal, NMH may not honor RTO requests after submittal

  • Both have been named to the 2022 Fortune / Merative 100 Top Hospitals® list, 2023 Women’s Choice Award Best Hospitals list.
  • Nonbillable Hours : 4 hours
  • Dress Code - Scrubs, Gray Top / Black Bottom
  • MN DHS Net Study & Fingerprinting is required for ALL patient-facing positions
  • NMH has a strict compliance deadline of 4 pm on the Wednesday before start - there will be no exceptions.
