Cage Shift Manager

Position Summary : The Cage Shift Manager assists the Cage Manager with the daily operations of the cage department ensuring the Cage operates in a secure, efficient and accountable manner.

Essential Functions :

• Supervise the daily activities of assigned subordinates to include the following : plan, assign and direct work, manage team member performance, approve time cards and time-off requests and address concerns of team member in the departments.
• Assist with posting job openings, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding and training new team members at all levels in their respective functions.
• Assist with planning, developing and implementing policies and procedures to enable the cage to comply with required regulations.
• Monitor and ensure that all Cage transactions are recorded in the Cage accountability systems and software as defined by policies and procedures.
• Plan and facilitate meetings with Cage supervisors on a set frequency to review and discuss policies and procedures, address problems and concerns and build cohesion on the team.
• Monitor Cage compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements; Title 31 requirements; Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Currency Transactions Reports and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino established Anti-Money Laundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SARCs as needed.
