EMT Lab Instructors and Education Coordinators

CERT, a leading EMT training provider in Fairfax, VA, is actively hiring EMT Lab Instructors and Education Coordinators to join our team of dedicated professionals. We are looking for passionate educators and experienced EMS professionals to help shape the next generation of EMTs. For those interested in relocating, CERT offers housing accommodations and competitive pay rates based on experience.

Position Details :

EMT Lab Instructors :

As an EMT Lab Instructor, you will :

  • Lead hands-on lab sessions, providing students with real-world EMS skills.
  • Assist with course management, classroom organization, and practical exams.
  • Support students in mastering essential EMT skills in a structured, supportive environment.

    • Education Coordinators :

    As an Education Coordinator, you will :

  • Oversee program logistics, scheduling, and curriculum planning.
  • Manage student records, coordinate with instructional staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with CERT leadership to enhance course offerings and student experience.

    • Flexible Course Options for Teaching Opportunities

    CERT offers several flexible EMT training programs, allowing instructors and coordinators to choose work that aligns with their availability. Course options include :

  • Fast-Track (4 Weeks) : Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM
  • Evening Academy (8 Weeks) : Monday – Thursday, 6 PM – 10 PM
  • Weekend Academy (8 Weeks) : Saturdays and Sundays, 9 AM – 5 PM
  • Blended Pathway (8 Weeks) : Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 PM – 10 PM, with alternating Sundays, 9 AM – 5 PM

    • Whether you prefer weekday, evening, or weekend schedules, CERT’s diverse course formats offer flexibility to work when it’s most convenient for you.

    Qualifications :

  • Current EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification (required for EMT Lab Instructors).
  • Prior experience in EMS education or instruction (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills for Education Coordinators.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, student-centered learning environment.
