    • Your Role : Clinical Informatics Analyst

    As a Clinical Informatics Analyst, you will be the vital link between Information Systems (Medhost) and our clinical departments. Your mission will be to :

  • Coordinate with Clinical and IT Leadership to enhance clinical outcomes through process improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and resolve application system issues.
  • Conduct user training during general orientation.

    • Help Desk and Customer Service

    In this role, you will :

  • Interview clinical staff to assess issues and determine appropriate actions.
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues in line with service level guidelines.
  • Serve as an on-call resource for clinical system inquiries.

    • Job Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you will facilitate the integration of applications across departments, working closely with leadership, users, and system vendors to :

  • Document and resolve issues
  • Coordinate system changes
  • Assist user departments in developing improved procedures

    • Job Requirements

  • Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Licenses : Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience and Medhost experience required.
  • Skills : Proficiency in analytical tools, data analysis, and hospital information systems.

    • Essential Functions

    In this role, you will :

  • Serve as a liaison between Information Systems and assigned departments.
  • Provide EMR training to all employed and locum Providers.
  • Develop training materials and assist user departments in maintaining effective operations.
  • Manage multiple projects through effective time and resource management.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, peers, and administration.

    • Functional Demands

    Populations Served : This role does not involve direct patient care.

    Protected Health Information : Access to demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and complete medical records.

    Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure : Occupational exposure is present for all employees.
