You will practice within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association, ensuring that your nursing practice is guided by leadership, collaboration, and effective communication.

Your Responsibilities

• Standards of Practice : Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide competent nursing care.
• Coordination of Care : Ensure seamless care delivery and transitions, promoting health and safety.
• Health Teaching : Empower patients and families through education and support.
• Professional Performance : Engage in ethical practice, culturally congruent care, effective communication, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Leadership : Lead within your professional setting and contribute to quality nursing practices.
