Senior Supervising Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical / DATA CENTERS
This role serves as the Engineer of Record on key projects, leading design coordination, technical delivery, and team supervision. It combines hands-on technical leadership with project and staff management to ensure high-quality outcomes across mission-critical, healthcare, and other complex facility types.
Base pay range
$140,000.00 / yr - $190,000.00 / yr
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Engineer of Record on assigned projects, overseeing all design and technical deliverables.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate engineering staff; support technical training and development.
- Manage and coordinate engineering assignments, ensuring compliance with established design standards, specifications, and criteria.
- Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Handle construction administration tasks including field reports, RFI responses, bulletins, and addenda.
- Review and monitor all project correspondence with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, manage contracts, and administer add-services agreements.
- Conduct coordination meetings with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Supervise preparation of system analyses, reports, and building condition assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.12+ years in electrical engineering within the MEP consulting industry, including 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.Proven experience in healthcare design; exposure to mission-critical, commercial, and aviation projects preferred.Proficiency in CAD and Revit with hands-on design expertise.J-18808-Ljbffr
