A company is looking for an In-House Employment Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on employment law matters, including hiring, terminations, and workplace investigations
Advise HR and business leaders on compliance with employment laws and manage responses to employment-related claims
Draft and review employment agreements and policies, and support employment-related aspects of M&A activities
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
7+ years of experience in labor and employment matters
Experience with EEOC claims, wrongful termination, and wage and hour issues
Insurance industry experience is a plus
