Job Summary and Responsibilities

Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking a Full time General Surgery NP or PA to serve our patients in beautiful Redding, CA, by helping to develop the General Surgery Service Line.

There are two positions available :

• One is a 1.0 FTE (Full time) , working weekdays Monday- Friday, 8-hour schedule. Every fourth week, this position would work 3 days during the week, plus Saturday and Sunday.
• One position is 0.5 FTE (Part time), working Saturday and Sunday, 10-hour schedule. This position is scheduled 3 weekends on, one weekend off.

These positions will be primarily hospital based at Mercy Medical Center Redding, but will work out of the Dignity Health Medical Group General Surgery Clinic.

Want to spend the weekend in the city? Sacramento is just over two hours away through easy farmland and the bay area is only about three to four hours from Redding. Want to refresh your spirit by dipping your toes in the ocean? A quick three hour drive takes you through bigfoot country to the northern CA coast. (Bonus points if you drive about 20 minutes farther to explore Jurassic Park - aka Fern Canyon - or the forest moon of Endor - aka Grizzly Creek SP.)

Redding has everything you love about California, but with a far lower cost of living than in the bay area or southern California. Pay Range

$62.50 - $69.71 / hour
