Management Trainee (Nicholasville, KY)

Over the course of 18 to 20 months, the Trainee program combines a series of three six-month rotational assignments in various business units including Transportation Operations, Construction Management, Emergency Services, Finance, Commercial Development, Engineering, and Mechanical Operations with the purpose of preparing the individual for a position within the organization that best matches the individual's strengths with the organization's needs.

A successful management trainee will be offered a position within the company once the program has been completed. The "hands-on" nature of this program will require that trainees receive field operational assignments at various locations throughout the organization travel is required often with little notice.

Job Requirements :

• An undergraduate degree is preferred, preferably in finance, business, engineering, or a related course of study.
• Willingness to travel extensively on assignments to company locations, up to 75% of the time.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required, and knowledge of biohazardous material handling or other labor-based certifications is a plus.
• Candidates with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or experience with other process improvement methodologies as well as those with any industrial and / or safety certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
