WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Ephrata, PA.

Job Function : \n

  • Night Shift.

    • \n

  • 3x12 : 7PM-7 : 30AM.

    • \n

  • Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.

    • \n

  • Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

    • \n

  • Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.

    • \n

  • Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

    • \n

  • Initiates corrective action whenever the patient.

    • \n \n

    Job Requirements : \n

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing  (BSN).

    • \n

  • Current RN license for the state of Pennsylvania.

    • \n

  • 2  years of MS   RN experience is required.   \n

    • \n

  • BLS, ACLS,  certifications  from the American Heart Association  are required.  \n

    • \n

  • EPIC experience preferred.
