Lead Teacher

Job Description

Join the Wilder Child Development Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota! We are seeking a Lead Teacher to provide high-quality learning and care for children aged 16 months to 5 years old. As a valued team member, you will play a key role in fostering a nurturing and supportive environment, with a focus on trauma-informed practices.

Duties :

• Conduct initial and ongoing screening to assess children's developmental and learning needs.
• Record observations and child assessment data for evaluations, grants, and parent conferences.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and parents, identifying and addressing children's developmental needs or issues.
• Develop and deliver early childhood education following guidelines and best practices, ensuring a safe learning environment and supervising children.
