A well-established general contractor based in Maryland, and project sites throughout the DC area. With over 20 years of experience, this firm specializes in large-scale government and security-focused construction projects, including anti-terrorism and secure facility (SCIF) design and build, with project values reaching $70M+. The company is known for its solution-oriented approach, strong emphasis on team building, and a robust, recession-resistant business model supported by a substantial project pipeline.

Job Description

Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project objectives and expectations. Develop and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, and status reports. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout all project phases. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when needed. Facilitate clear communication between teams to resolve challenges effectively. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements. Oversee resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization across multiple projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have :

  • 8-10 years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong background in interior construction (commercial / government preferred)
  • Experience managing APMs or project support teams
  • Ability to handle fast-paced projects in the $1M-$2M range
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Government or secure project experience is a plus, but not required
