The Quality Technician performs inspection on Jtec automated cart systems, including finished product, sub-assemblies, incoming material and electrical assemblies.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensures all components are correctly fabricated / coated / assembled prior to leaving location.Understands Jtec products and processes.Inspects product for conformance to print and inspection forms.Escalates non-conformances found and ensure correction or acceptance per engineering.Trains shop personnel in correct policies and procedures.Must be able to read and understand prints / schematics on a high level and understand the intent of the design.Assists with 3rd party audits and actions related to findings and be certified as an internal auditor.Ability to revise controlled documents to submit for review and approval.Ability to support quality functions at all locations.Works with operations and engineering to ensure a quality product is produced.Prioritizes the inspection queue based upon changing production requirements throughout the day.Recommends improvements to engineering / operations as necessary.Informs Quality Manager of any trends seen within the process that do not comply with designs.Acts as a resource for manufacturing engineers, application engineers, and supervisors on identified defects and work with team to find a solution.Checks sampling of incoming material for quality and specifications including kits.Assumes ownership of quality processes and procedures.Performs inventory and material handling duties as directed to support Washington operations.Inspects product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Qualifications
