Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Fresno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will support a positive atmosphere while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, working as part of a team that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

Pay Rate : $18.55 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 30 PM - 09 : 30 PM

Sun 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the logistics and distribution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military experience.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
