LOCUM ANESTHESIOLOGIST in Asheboro, North Carolina Job ID : 136079

  • Specialty : Anesthesiologist
  • Practice Setting : OR / Surgery Department. Small Community Hospital. 145-bed facility. 5100 annual volume - around 500 OB cases per year.
  • Dates / Coverage Needed : Beginning ASAC (ideally November) - one week on one week off from Monday-Monday. Monday-Friday are 8-hour day shifts + beeper call every night from 3 pm - 7 am. Sat / Sun are two 24-hour beeper call shifts ending at 7 am on Monday.
  • Case Mix : Bread & Butter with OB, healthy peds (over the age of 2 and only ENT), uro, endo, ortho. No hearts and no heads.
  • Support Staff / Supervision : CRNAs are 100% supervised during the day at a 1 : 4 or 1 : 5 ratio. At night, while on call, the Anesthesiologists do their cases.
  • Credentialing Time-Frame : 30 days
  • Active NC License
