Overview
Position Summary : As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member's expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member : Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; remains flexible to the needs of the business; tracks goods; maintains in-stock levels; and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert : Maintains in-depth knowledge of meat products, seasonality, equipment usage, and backroom operations; prepares meat products by processing according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie : Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner : Drives business results with a focus on operational excellence, profitability, and maintaining a work area per company policies; ensures quality and standards for high-volume meat products; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador : Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; supports training of colleagues.
