Ideal Candidate :

  • Graduation from accredited nursing program required
  • California nursing or APP license required
  • Minimum five years oncology nursing experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
  • BLS certification required
  • OCN certification required
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all departments and disciplines
  • Previous experience managing or supervising multiple oncology clinical service lines preferred
  • Knowledge of chemotherapy / immunotherapy workflows, patient safety protocols, and outpatient oncology best practices preferred
  • Experience supporting accreditation, compliance, or quality improvement programs preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in coaching and mentoring clinical teams preferred
  • Proven commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and professional integrity preferred

About the Role :

Pacific Cancer Care (PCC) is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) or Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Director of Clinical Services . This leadership role oversees all clinical operations across PCC, including infusion services, nursing, and related outpatient oncology clinical support functions. The Director is responsible for supervising clinical staff, optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety. The ideal candidate has at least two years of oncology experience in an infusion or outpatient oncology setting, proven leadership experience, and a passion for staff development, process improvement, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all clinical service lines.

Essential functions and responsiblities include :

  • Leads onboarding, training, and competency evaluations; mentors nurses and other clinical staff to foster professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintains adherence to applicable state, federal, and accrediting body standards.
  • Upholds PCC’s mission and culture by fostering a collaborative, accountable, and patient-first environment that values teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Works closely with physicians, and clinical team to align services with organizational priorities and best practices.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing, scheduling, and utilization of clinical resources to optimize patient experience and operational efficiency.
  • Leads projects to improve workflows, enhance safety, strengthen patient satisfaction, and optimize operational performance across service lines.
  • Facilitates communication and coordination between clinical services, medical oncology, radiation oncology, administration, and external partners.
  • Contributes to PCC’s mission and organizational initiatives through additional leadership and special projects.

  • Salary Transparency :

    Base Salary Range : $153,754 - $205,005 annually
