Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies is a plus. As the Quality Lab Manager, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to excellence. You will lead a talented team of Quality Technicians and Mechanical Inspectors in ensuring that all products meet rigorous quality standards, and you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of our processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success and reputation of our company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality technicians / mechanical inspectors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance, including testing, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and implement robust quality management systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer, and company standards in an ISO9001, AS9100, and IATF16949 environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and resolve quality-related issues.
- Manage the quality lab's budget and resources effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, incorporating them into the operation.
- Drive reduction in Inspection where warranted. Keep Inspection throughput flowing to never be a bottleneck.
- Support the planning and the design of quality control inside manufacturing processes, as part of the project team, and following APQP principles, support ECOs, RCRs, SCRs, etc. from a quality viewpoint.
