Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR

Location : Midland, MI 48640 (Michigan healthcare jobs)

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 9, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 10-hour day shifts (6 : 00am–4 : 30pm or 6 : 30am–5 : 00pm)

On Call : 1-2 nights per week

Weekend Requirement : Every third weekend

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1980 - $2120

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS certification (AHA required)

Minimum 3 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing experience

Open heart surgery experience required

Previous travel nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

Current CVOR skills checklist (within 1 year)

2 supervisory reference forms from the last 2 years

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Midland, MI (Michigan travel nursing jobs)

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

Assess surgical patient needs and develop individualized care plans for cardiovascular procedures

Implement, evaluate, and document patient care throughout CVOR surgeries

Maintain patient safety and monitor the sterile field during all operating room procedures

Provide leadership and clinical supervision to the operating room team

Coordinate schedule changes, assemble surgical equipment and supplies, and assist anesthesia providers as needed

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the surgical healthcare team

Participate in staff development, preceptorship, and continuing nursing education
