In addition to providing personal care, the Lead Caregiver contributes to Quality Assurance efforts to help improve client retention and satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities :
Assist with personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)Meal preparationHousekeepingMedication remindersTransportationDementia careEncourage independence and help clients age with dignity in the comfort of their homeMonitor and report changes in client condition or needs promptlyMaintain regular and clear communication with office staffLeadership & Support Responsibilities :
Model and consistently uphold company policies and standards with enthusiasmProvide ongoing education and support to fellow Caregivers, including :Coaching and mentoringTeaching and re-educating company policies and care techniquesSupport Caregiver development through encouragement and feedbackParticipate in Quality Assurance activities :Client introductionsSupervisory visitsCheck-ins to ensure client satisfaction and continuity of careUse of mobility and transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, and gait beltsRequirements :
Experience using Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, and gait beltsStrong communication and leadership skillsPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetPassion for helping others and commitment to quality careMust be flexible and available for any shiftMust be willing to travelAbility to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbsClear background check and drug screenMust have a valid drivers license and current auto insuranceWhy Join Home Instead?
