Edgewood Golf Course is seeking a PGA Associate or PGA Member to join our professional staff for the 2026 season. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment at one of the region’s premier public golf facilities—while also being part of Edgewood’s 100th season celebration.
About Edgewood Golf Course :
Nestled along the scenic Red River in North Fargo, Edgewood Golf Course has been a community cornerstone since the 1920s. Known for its oak-lined fairways, challenging par-71 layout, and welcoming atmosphere, Edgewood will proudly celebrate its centennial season in 2026. The facility offers comprehensive practice amenities, including a driving range and multiple practice greens (putting and chipping areas), creating outstanding opportunities for player development and instruction.
Position Highlights :
Teaching Opportunities : Work under the guidance and mentorship of PGA Master Professional, Lisa Schwinden, with opportunities to give private lessons, group clinics, and junior programs.
Tournaments & Leagues : Assist with planning, promotion, and execution of golf tournaments, leagues, and special events.
Staffing & Operations : Help lead daily golf operations, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding service to members and guests.
Professional Growth : Gain hands-on experience across all areas of golf operations while receiving mentorship and career development support.
Qualifications :
PGA Associate or PGA Member in good standing preferred but not required. We can train the right person who has great work ethic, personality and team focus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion for teaching, tournament operations, and customer service

Essential Responsibilities
Teaching & Player Development
Provide private and group golf instruction to players of all ages and abilities.
Assist with junior golf programs, clinics, and outreach initiatives.
Work directly with PGA Master Professional Lisa Schwinden for mentorship and teaching guidance.
Tournament & League Operations
Assist in planning, setup, and execution of tournaments, outings, and leagues.
Manage event pairings, scoring, pace of play, and award distribution.
Deliver a high-quality experience for players and organizers.
Golf Shop & Daily Operations
Oversee tee sheet management, check-in, and customer service.
Assist with merchandising, including sales, inventory tracking, and displays.
Help supervise seasonal staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Facility & Practice Areas
Monitor driving range, putting greens, and short-game areas for safety, setup, and guest experience.
Support player use of practice facilities, ensuring a professional teaching environment.
Customer Service & Engagement
Build strong relationships with members, guests, and league players.
Serve as an ambassador for Edgewood Golf Course and its centennial celebration.
Uphold service standards that reflect the course’s historic reputation.
Professional Development & Teamwork
Actively participate in team meetings, training, and operational planning.
Continue PGA education requirements and career progression.
Collaborate with fellow staff to improve programming, events, and overall guest experience.
