Established in 1975, Yakima Neighborhood Health Services is a Community Health Center in Central Washington State serving our communities through holistic and integrated team-based care. Our Ideal Candidate :

  • Licensed to practice general dentistry in the State of Washington.
  • Convenient if bilingual in English / Spanish, and / or ability to sign.
  • Candidate has not been sanctioned or excluded from participation in federal or state healthcare programs by a federal or state law enforcement, regulatory, or licensing agency.

Overview :

  • Provide preventive and restorative dental care to patients of all ages, with special focus on prevention services for pregnant women and young children.
  • Work with other clinic dentists and dental hygienists to maximize patient flow and treatment opportunities for YNHS patients.
  • Participate in public health dentistry efforts in the community.
  • Work with local private dentists to facility smooth referral patterns for YNHS patients.
  • Participate in staff meetings and other quality assurance efforts as requested.
  • Work with YNHS public health staff and primary medical care staff to integrate dental services and oral health education opportunities.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and peer review as requested.
  • Maintain organized, clean, efficient and confidential work area.
  • Represent YNHS in local meetings as requested.
  • Perform related work or other tasks as requested, or as outlined in dentist contract.
