Position Summary

This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Engineer to join a natural gas pipeline engineering and mechanical design team. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or relevant experience in a related field. The role involves designing pipelines and related facilities, specifying materials, developing schedules and cost estimates, conducting engineering studies, and preparing reports. The engineer will also support ongoing construction projects and participate in occasional site visits (~10%). Strong candidates will be quick learners, self-starters, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple deadlines, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity for a motivated project engineer to support natural gas pipeline engineering and mechanical design team.
  • The candidate will have an engineering degree (typically mechanical or chemical engineering) or equivalent relevant experience in a related field.
  • They will be part of a team, learning to prepare designs for pipelines, meter stations and other pipeline facilities; specify materials to be purchased to implement facility designs; develop project implementation schedules; prepare cost estimates; perform engineering studies involving data analysis and process flow analysis and written reports.
  • Responsibilities also include supporting active construction projects and occasional site visits within the region (~10%).
