The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.

Overview : Job Profile Summary
Provide diagnostic sonograms for interpretation by radiologist. Assist radiologist in the performance of procedures and provide the patient care essential to ultrasound interventional guided procedures.

Safety / Risk Management :
a. Locates & properly operates oxygen, suction, blood pressure & other essential patient care equipment.
b. Consistently observes patients before, during & after procedures. Makes & uses appropriate immobilization devices.
c. Appropriately transfers patients to / from stretchers, wheelchairs & on / off procedure table, giving care to IVs & other appliances.
d. Safely operates all equipment & immediately reports malfunctions. Locates all emergency switches. Demonstrates understanding of emergency procedures & radiation safety.
e. Assures that all data entered / retrieved from physicians orders and / or computer system is accurate. Verifies accuracy prior to procedure.
Coordination of Services :
a. Reviews orders for diagnosis & prescriptions. Appropriately schedules patient & department resources for services.
b. Performs all procedures according to protocol stated in procedure manual, unless directed otherwise by radiologist / physician. Presents completed procedure to radiologist / physician for interpretation.
c. Collaborates with staff members & physicians to assure delivery of optimal patient care at all times. Demonstrates ability to revise department schedule & staff assignments to meet patient & physician needs & maintain a smooth functioning department with limited rooms & equipment.
d. Assumes responsibility for portions of quality improvement program. Understands all phases. Keeps all documentation current & available. Follows through with any problem areas.
e. Assists in department orientation program as needed; assumes responsibility of training new staff. Assists staff members in keeping orientation program up to date. Contributes to development of educational needs of support staff and / or students.
f. Evaluates diagnostic procedure for appropriateness, takes corrective measures if needed. Screens for previous procedures.
Complex Aspects :
a. Provides diagnostic sonograms with the ability to recognize structures visualized.
b. Assists radiologist / physician in ultrasound interventional guided procedures along with providing essential patient care.
c. Able to transmit images and troubleshoot teleradiology system. Verifies all images from Exam appear on Ultravisual.
Primary Aspects :
a. Greets patients by name; introduces self; provides patients with thorough explanation of procedures, efficiently performs procedure. Uses good judgment with add-on cases to meet patient needs and department needs without disrupting schedule.
