Senior Coordinator Small Business Finance & QuickBooks Consulting

Under the direction of an Assistant Director or above, the Senior Coordinator Small Business Finance & QuickBooks Consulting will lead specialized initiatives to support small businesses in financial management and accounting system setup. This role includes delivering QuickBooks Online training, conducting financial analysis of business financial statements, and providing consulting services to startups and existing businesses. The coordinator will also assist in the design, development, and implementation of departmental processes and programs, with a focus on financial literacy and operational efficiency.

Job Functions :

• Coordinate and administer specialized financial consulting programs for small businesses.
• Deliver monthly in-person QuickBooks Online trainings for workshops and cohorts.
• Assist startups in setting up QBO accounts and guide existing businesses in optimizing their accounting structure.
• Provide expert-level financial analysis of business financial statements, including : assessment of profitability and cash flow, identification of financial trends and risks, and evaluation of financial ratios and performance metrics.
• Offer direct client services including group training, individual consulting, and public presentations.
• Collaborate with university staff and external partners to ensure program success.
• Administer program budgets in compliance with FSBDC, City of Jacksonville, UNF, and other funding guidelines.
• Support grant reporting and development of procedures for financial consulting programs.

Supervision :

Received : Reports to the UNF SBDC Assistant Director. Exercised : Supervises OPS Consultants, student assistants, and / or training assistants.

Public Contact :

Extensive public contact required through individual consulting, group training, and public presentations. Will engage with partners, stakeholders, and legislators on behalf of the FSBDC.

All client data and training registration information must be kept confidential in accordance with FSBDC Network subcontract terms.

Required Qualifications :

Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
