Position Summary

What you'll do : Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and / or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to ensure associates complete required training in order to achieve facility goals.

Responsibilities

Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office (benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll) by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives and researching and addressing employment-related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers.

Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing and managing the accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents; assist in the implementation of and ensuring compliance with HR systems / applications; and gather data for HR-related issues.

Maintain quality and safety standards in the area of responsibility by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor compliance; distribute and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.

Identify associate, customer, and / or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective action or recommendations to resolve issues.

Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; model company policies and procedures; identify training and development needs; participate in hiring / promotion / coaching / evaluation.

Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web-based training, virtual classroom) for Distribution and / or Transportation associates by identifying needs, monitoring completion, and ensuring compliance across multiple training activities.

Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments by building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; measure progress and promote continuous learning.

Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training, mentoring, and recognizing contributions while fostering a sense of belonging.

Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and upholding the Open Door Policy.

Respect the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, and creating a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected; attract and develop talent; act with integrity; serve customers and members; strive for excellence.

Salary and Qualifications

Annual salary range : $65,500.00 - $98,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses; other compensation may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location and stock.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 2 years Walmart Logistics management experience OR 2 years supervisory experience (including 1 year managing HR processes) OR 1 year Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience.
