Description :

Travel RN position available for Bone Marrow Transplant oncology.

The unit operates with 80-100 beds daily and has a staff of 37 RNs.

The team consists of 2 charge RNs, 1 resource RN, 2 medical assistants, and 16-19 RNs managing patient assignments.

The patient ratios are 1 : 6, with fewer patients if acuity is higher.

Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and ICU medical chemo adapters.

The electronic medical record system used is Meditech and OncoEMR.

Typical procedures performed include chemotherapy administration and central line draws.

Ideal candidates should be outgoing, personable, and warm.

This position offers a chance to work in one of the largest transplant centers in the nation, participating in many phase 1 clinical trials and a growing CAR T program.
