Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct psychiatric evaluations for new adult patients (16+)Provide medication management and follow-up care for stable to moderate psychiatric conditionsCollaborate with therapists, LCSWs, and LMFTs to coordinate behavioral health supportWork closely with primary care providers to ensure integrated medical and psychiatric managementReview active cases monthly with the supervising psychiatrist to maintain clinical oversightMaintain detailed electronic health record documentation for all telehealth encounters in compliance with regulatory and billing requirementsDiagnose and manage conditions such as major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, adjustment disorders, PTSD (mild to moderate), bipolar II (stable, non-acute), insomnia, ADHD, mild neurocognitive symptoms (non-dementia), substance use disorder (in remission or stable), and outpatient-appropriate personality disordersComplete comprehensive psychiatric intakes, diagnostic assessments, and periodic reassessmentsInitiate, titrate, and monitor psychotropic medicationsReview and interpret labs as clinically indicatedDevelop and document individualized treatment plansParticipate in monthly psychiatrist case reviews for quality assuranceRefer and link patients to higher levels of care when clinically indicatedAdditional Information
