  • Patient Population - Primarily Adults.
  • Regional health center with 217 licensed beds.
  • Services include ED, Critical Care, Med / Surg, Acute Rehab, OB, Pediatrics, Cath Lab, Diagnostics & therapeutic radiology, Wound Care, Pain Clinic, Sleep Lab, Pathology & more.
  • Position Information : Facility Department / Cost Center : 780, Role : RN, Specialty : ER, Number of Openings : 1, Shift : 7a-7p, Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48, Call Requirements : Needed to cover daily volume and call coverage 24 / 7.
  • Years of Experience : 1 -2 year in acute care facility.
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 (40 visits a day)
  • EHR : MediTech

    • Job Requirements

  • Must have Iowa SING Background Check cleared (Criminal and Child Abuse portions required) - no exceptions.
  • All background checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start - no instant or statewide searches accepted.
  • Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult).
  • Drug Test MUST be 10 panel screening including opiates.
  • Titers must be from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
  • Required Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 7a-7p.
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference).
  • Will allow Monday or Tuesday starts.
  • Call coverage required 24 / 7.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : Emergency Room (ER).
  • Number of Beds : 17.
  • Patient Population : Mainly adults and geriatrics.
  • Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 (40 visits a day).
  • EHR system : MediTech.
  • Call coverage required 24 / 7.
