Position Summary

The Gas Turbine Repair Engineer role is an integral part of the engineering team developing repairs of aeroderivative gas turbine components. These repairs restore the components to perform in turbines in peaker applications. We utilize state-of-the-art blue light scanning, superalloy welding, brazing, HVOF & air plasma spray coatings and vacuum heat treating to restore parts to serviceable condition. We also manufacture new replacement parts for aeroderivative turbines in the same facility.

Reports to : Engineering Manager

Position Responsibilities

• Development of safe, high quality, reliable and cost-effective repair processes to deliver repaired components.
• Introduction of new repair processes and full component repair into the repair shop
• Quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness to customer / project specific repair scopes.
• Optimize, streamline, and improve all inspection and repair processes.
• Work-in-Progress repair quality issue resolution
• Repair equipment and tooling definition and fabrication.
