• Experience with patient ratios

Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized wound care for patients.

The average daily census is 52 patients.

The nurse will be responsible for assessment and management of wounds, including pressure ulcers and various types of ulcers.

Skills in ostomy care, infection control, and skin management are essential.

The nurse should be knowledgeable in utilizing various wound care products such as alginates, hydrocolloids, and vacuum-assisted closure devices.

Patient and family teaching is a vital component of this role.

Interdisciplinary support will be available, including assistance from physical therapy and social services.

The nurse may be required to float between departments as necessary.

Weekend coverage is not required.

The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

All candidates must be prepared for additional compliance training upon hire.
