Director of Nursing DON

Jamestown Health and Rehab, part of The Pavilion family, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. This under 100-bed facility offers a supportive environment with a family feel, where staff and residents alike are valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall leadership and direction for the nursing department.

Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CMS regulations.

Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring of nursing staff.

Maintain survey readiness and lead quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with the Administrator, physicians, and interdisciplinary team to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Ohio required.

Prior DON or ADON experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, survey process, and PDPM.

Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Commitment to providing excellent care and supporting staff development.
