Construction Materials & Logistics Coordinator

Location : Saint George, SC

Schedule : MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM (Overtime as needed)

We are seeking a highly organized, safety-conscious, and proactive Construction Materials Coordinator to support a high-profile data center construction project in Saint George, SC. This role is pivotal in maintaining the flow of mechanical materials such as sheet metal and ductwork across the jobsite. The ideal candidate will be a strong decision-maker with a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach to logistics and coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and offload deliveries of sheet metal, ductwork, and other mechanical materials.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Stage and organize materials to support installation crews and maintain workflow.
  • Track and inventory all incoming materials with precision and accountability.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and vendors to manage delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laydown yard and staging areas.
  • Uphold safety protocols in alignment with OSHA and company standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction material handling, logistics, or warehouse coordination.
  • Forklift certification and a strong record of safe operation.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and components (e.g., sheet metal, ductwork).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 / hr.
