They oversee the planning, development, and management of a diverse real estate portfolio in Southwest Montana, including residential, hospitality, commercial, and workforce housing assets.

At the core of the portfolio are three premier private communities in Big Sky—Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, and Moonlight Basin. Surrounding these are a growing mix of supporting assets, including residential neighborhoods, hotels, mixed-use buildings, and community infrastructure. The firm is also leading the next phase of Big Sky’s Town Center development, which will add new housing, hospitality, and public amenities to the area. Other active projects include a hotel in downtown Bozeman and long-term planning at Crazy Mountain Ranch.

Job Description :

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join the Investments team. This individual will play a key support role in evaluating real estate opportunities across the firm’s diverse portfolio. The Associate will be expected to own or be a critical contributor to the underwriting, due diligence, and financial modeling processes that inform investment decisions and capital allocation.

This is a hands-on analytical role designed for candidates with strong financial skills, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the real estate investment field. The Associate will work closely with internal teams including asset management, development, finance, and accounting to support investment execution and portfolio monitoring as well as external consultants, capital partners, and counterparts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and own detailed financial models to underwrite real estate investment and development opportunities as well as fund models
• Play a critical role in preparing and presenting investment materials for executive committee review
• Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to support underwriting assumptions and strategic planning
• Analyze asset-level performance, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with the asset management team
• Play a key role in working with external consultants and capital providers for both debt and equity
• Own due diligence efforts, including review of legal, financial, and operational documents
• Assist in preparing materials for capital markets activities and investor updates
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile data, track timelines, and support transaction execution
• Organize and maintain data rooms, models, and supporting documentation for active and prospective investments
