Senior Project Manager - Ports And Navigation

AECOM is seeking a Ports and Navigation Project Manager based in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Serves as Project Manager for small to large ports and navigation projects including dredging, beneficial use of dredged materials, feasibility studies and costal restoration projects.
• Provides technical leadership for projects from the planning phase through construction on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects.
• Demonstrates experience in conventional and advanced technologies and alternative delivery projects.
• Competent in all aspects of project delivery, including scope, schedule, finance, and quality.
• Prepares technical memoranda, planning studies and final design calculations, plans and specifications.
• Coordinates with other discipline leads, clients, consultants, and agencies in management and implementation of projects.
• Proposes approaches to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods.
• Assists in identifying opportunities, development of proposals and statement of qualifications.
• Builds and maintains relationships with clients and industry professionals.
• Actively participates in ports and marine industry specific conferences and professional organizations.
• Provides technical direction and mentorship for junior staff.
