Human Resources Assistant
This Full-Time position will work approximately forty (40) hours per week in a Weirton office setting at HealthWays Inc. This position will assist the Human Resource Director with clerical and administrative duties, as well as payroll processing. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required as well as a minimum of 1 year of paid office experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, and previous payroll experience is preferred, especially working on ADP.
Some of the duties and responsibilities are but not limited to :
- Strong interpersonal, business presentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform a variety of confidential clerical and support functions for the Human Resources team.
- Independent judgment and the ability to organize workflows and processes, ensure confidentiality, work with minimal supervision, show attention to detail, and exercise discretion in an environment of constant change are necessary.
- Requires computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience working with ADP is a plus.
- Must be able to train and interact with individuals in a group, or individual setting.
- Knowledge of interviewing and investigation techniques.
- Previous payroll processing experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain personnel records and various program monitoring.
