- Provides patient care services utilizing the nursing process\n
- Performs care planning activities utilizing assessment data or input from all team members encompassing individual patient needs throughout the continuum of care\n
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures\n
- Provides treatments or administers medications as directed within the scope of practice of the registered nurse\n
- Alters plan of care based on ongoing assessments\n
- Documents patient condition, vital statistics, interventions, medications, diagnosis, patient responses, prescribed treatments, and treatment changes\n
- Ensures efficient, quality patient outcomes through the implementation of the plan of care and effective use of all available resources\n
- Communicates health care needs with patient, family, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care\n
- Delegates and communicates patient care needs to appropriate team members based on skill, knowledge, and patient acuity\n

- Assures daily accurate, concise reporting, and documentation of patients' condition and needs with appropriate follow-up\n

- Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations\n\nRequired Qualifications : \n\nEducation : Graduate of an accredited, state approved, school of nursing.\n\nLicensure : Current MS RN license, MS 90-day temporary permit, or Compact state RN license.\n\nExperience : One (1) year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care environment.
