Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab.

The team works four ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 5 PM.

The Cath Lab team consists of three full-time nurses.

There is a pre / post procedure area with four bays, staffed by two additional registered nurses.

We have one Cath Lab procedure room.

Weekend requirements are not mandatory.

On-call requirements are expected from Monday to Saturday.

On-call serves solely for post PCI patients that need to be brought back into the Cath Lab.

No STEMI call is required.

Float between service lines is not required.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience.

First-timers are accepted.

A valid license is required prior to starting.

National certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.

Travelers must provide their own radiation badge as we do not supply them.

Open to accommodating block scheduling upon manager approval.

We accept local candidates on a case-by-case basis, at 10% less than the posted rate.

All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.

A facility can call off one shift every two weeks.

Daily census in the Cath Lab is typically four patients.

The facility utilizes the Epic charting system.

Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.

This is typically from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.

Candidates must be willing to adhere to RTO restrictions and guidelines.

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Cath Lab protocols and procedures.

The work environment includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and various medical staff.
