Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a part-time Teacher specializing in Deaf / Hard of Hearing (DHH) support, providing essential educational services to two K-12 students. The position is contract-based for the uping school year and is located in La Salle, Illinois.
Responsibilities include delivering targeted instructional and support services tailored to the needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. You will work closely with students during scheduled sessions totaling 190 minutes per week, spread over Monday through Thursday (40 minutes each day) and Friday (30 minutes). This role requires effective munication, patience, and expertise in DHH teaching strategies to foster student engagement and learning.
