Candidate should be skilled in both general nuclear medicine and PET / CT operations, with comfort handling radiopharmaceuticals and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary imaging team. Key Responsibilities Perform general nuclear medicine studies including SPECT and nuclear cardiology procedures. Conduct PET / CT imaging using Siemens systems. Administer and handle radiopharmaceuticals safely in compliance with radiation safety standards. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE gamma cameras and uptake systems. Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other clinicians to ensure quality patient care. Participate in rotational on-call coverage (approximately 1 weekend per month). Requirements Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred (first-time travelers accepted). Certifications : NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) – required PET Certification – required BLS (AHA) – required ARRT(N) or CNMT – accepted Systems : Epic (preferred), Siemens & GE imaging platforms. Patient Population : Adolescents, adults, geriatrics. Average Daily Census : 8–10 patients. Skills & Procedures Nuclear Medicine Studies : Bone, liver, renal, thyroid, brain, and cancer scans. Cardiac Studies : Myocardial, pharmacologic stress, and Persantine infusion. Procedures : HIDA, MUGA, gastric emptying, DEXA scans. Professional Skills : Venipuncture, IV maintenance, ABG interpretation, radiation safety compliance. Equipment : GE & Siemens gamma cameras, SPECT systems. Additional Information Travel Experience : Not required. Floating : Not required. On Call : Yes – approx. 1 weekend per month. Scrub Color : Royal Blue or Khaki.
