Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

Position Overview :

Versant is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to support the design, implementation, and administration of its broad-based compensation programs. This role will be instrumental in providing data-driven insights, conducting market analyses, and ensuring the integrity and competitiveness of compensation practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills and a passion for compensation analytics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze compensation data to identify trends, support decision-making, and ensure internal equity.

Participate in compensation surveys and conduct market pricing for roles across the organization.

Support the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, bonus calculations, and salary adjustments.

Conduct job evaluations and support the development of job descriptions and leveling frameworks.

Help ensure compensation practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance on offers and promotions.
