Onsite This role requires reporting to Tonawanda on a full-time basis.

The Role :

The Manufacturing Process Engineer provides technical expertise to support manufacturing systems, aiming to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and efficiency. Success in this role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) :

• Support daily production needs by maintaining strong relationships with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Manage downtime events by offering technical guidance.
• Design safe, quality-focused, efficient work operations with integrity.
• Lead Continuous Improvement efforts to eliminate waste.
• Identify bottlenecks and support productivity improvements.
• Improve productivity metrics to reduce costs.
• Coach and teach lean manufacturing principles to team members.
• Lead problem-solving initiatives.
• Collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Work with machine / tool builders on new equipment design and implementation.
• Create and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PFMEAs.
• Lead equipment installation, debugging, launch, and improvement activities.
• Contribute to lessons learned and process updates.
• Provide technical oversight of outside vendors.
• Ensure equipment and processes meet design requirements using GD&T skills.
• Identify and request spare parts.
• Develop Preventative Maintenance Plans and train teams to execute them.
• Analyze data, identify root causes, and resolve issues affecting assembly, quality, or throughput.
• Support new process and equipment implementation.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations.
• Gather customer input to understand needs.
