Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Position

Schedule Details

4x10 hour shifts

Monday through Thursday

9 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

No on call requirements

No holidays

No weekends

Position Overview

RN responsible for pre / post and 23hr care for IR patients

Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post procedure

Fast-paced pre / post interventional radiology department in a level 1 Trauma center

Cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan

Work within a multidisciplinary team responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post procedural recovery and overnight observation care

High energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging

Specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound

Required Experience

2 years' Registered IR Nursing experience

Telemetry Experience Required

New York RN license (ONLY)

Required Certifications

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GI post procedural care is preferred but not required

Medical / Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
