East West Bank Commercial Banking Summer Analyst Program
The East West Bank Commercial Banking Summer Analyst Program is dedicated to developing future banking professionals for East West Bank. The program is designed to give hands-on experience across all stages of commercial lending transactions from screening, structuring, underwriting, and closing. Summer Analysts will have exposure to the credit department and client segment teams through a variety of assigned projects and studies. During the program Summer Analysts will develop initial analytical and interpersonal skills required to be an effective banking professional while building relationships with their peers and other banking colleagues. Successful completion of the East West Bank Summer Analyst Program may lead to a full-time offer near the end of the summer program for a January 2027 or June 2027 start date. Offers are dependent on successful performance and the number of credit analyst positions available. Potential exposure to multiple client segments : Commercial and Industrial / Leverage Finance (Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Pasadena), Commercial Real Estate (Dallas and Pasadena), Energy - Oil & Gas (Dallas), Healthcare (Dallas), and Fund Finance (New York City and Pasadena).

Responsibilities
Assisting with all stages of commercial lending transactions from screening and structuring to underwriting and closingAnalyzing and spreading financial statementsConducting industry analysisSupporting Relationship Managers / Portfolio Managers in evaluation of financial projection modelsLearning fundamentals of credit analysis and underwritingAssisting with portfolio management and loan monitoringParticipate in a comprehensive skill set evaluation at the end of the program, including the preparation and delivery of final presentation demonstrating knowledge and applied competenciesCompleting other projects as assignedQualifications
Enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program majoring in finance, economics, accounting, business management or other related fieldsMinimum 3.5 GPADetail oriented, intellectually curious, highly motivated and strong work ethicUnderstanding of generally accepted accounting & finance principlesStrong critical thinking skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environmentJunior in college with expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027In office position 5 days a week. This is not a remote position.Employment Dates :
Start date : June 1, 202610 weeks through August 7, 20269am 5pm in office each day with the potential of working longer hours if needed. This is not a remote position.No relocation stipend for these positions.Business casual and occasionally business formal wear required.Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $23.00 / Hr. - USD $28.00 / Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
