We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment. This role requires expertise in construction accounting and familiarity with industry-specific tools.

Responsibilities :

  • Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
  • Accurately enter financial data and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Handle invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation with precision.
  • Generate AIA billing and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize Viewpoint Vista software to manage financial workflows.
  • Support cost and project accounting tasks related to construction projects.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
  • Ensure all transactions align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and invoicing processes.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) management.
  • Proficiency in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Familiarity with invoice processing and AIA billing practices.
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
