Job Description

Established manufacturer of precast and prefabricated concrete products is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join its engineering team. This role is central to designing and analyzing structural systems for infrastructure, utility, and building applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review precast concrete structures (manholes, vaults, culverts, bridges, etc.)
  • Prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications aligned with codes and project needs
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors for integrated solutions
  • Perform structural analysis using AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, RISA, SAP2000, or STAAD
  • Support manufacturing, sales, and field teams throughout project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, ASTM, ACI, and other relevant standards
  • Conduct site visits and quality assurance inspections
  • Contribute to value engineering initiatives

Qualifications

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • PE license or FE / EIT with path to PE
  • 3–7 years of experience in civil or structural engineering (concrete / precast preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of ACI, ASCE, AASHTO, and local codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software
